Chocolate Fondants

Tasty chocolate fondants finished in the oven. Molten in the middle, crusty on the outside, absolutely perfect. Serve with some ice cream for a really decadent finish.

Ingredients

  • 60 g unsalted butter
  • 60 g dark chocolate (70% and higher)
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 g castor sugar
  • 60 g plain flour
  • splash of rum / kahlua

Instructions

  1. Butter four ramekins and place in fridge
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together in a bain-marie, stir till smooth
  3. Beat the eggs and sugar together until thick
  4. Fold the chocolate mixture into the eggs
  5. Then fold in the flour and liqueur
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
  7. Bake in the pre-heated oven at 190 degrees for 13 Minutes, taken directly out the fridge
  8. Serve immediately!!
