Ingredients
- 1 tbsp of Granulated Sugar
- 125g self-raising Flour
- 150g Butter
- 900g Cooking Apples
- 1 Lemon
- 50g Raisins
- 50g soft-light Brown Sugar
- 75g Porridge Oats
- 50g Desiccated Coconut

Instructions
- Melt 25g of butter in a medium saucepan. Add the peeled, cored, and roughly chopped apples and the grated lemon rind and raisins. Cover and cook gently, stirring occasionally until the apples have softened - about 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in the granulated sugar.
- Mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, and coconut. Melt the remaining butter. Add to dry ingredients and stir to mix.
- Place the apple mixture into an ovenproof dish of 1.1L. Top with the crumble mixture.
- Bake at 190°C for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden. Serve hot or cold with custard or ice cream.
