Very flavoursome onion dish. Goes great on burgers or meatballs.
Notes: Don’t forget to stir occasionally!

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g of red onions, cut in thin rings
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp red balsamic vinegar
- salt
Instructions
- Heat oil at medium heat in a frying pan and add the onions
- Add a pinch of salt and let onions cook slowly for 15 to 20 minutes, stir from time to time as they shouldn't burn
- When the onions are good and soft, add the sugar and vinegar
- Cook at low heat for another 10 minutes
